Lost Pit (Fairport Harbor)

It's been a few years now, but i will always have hope. A few years back when I still lived with my dad, my dog "ran away". The situation is a bit personal, but my dad had actually forced my dog out of the house while I wasn't home. Since we lived in a tightknit community, he knew she would be picked up and rehomed. And she was, all before I even knew she was gone. He did this without my consent and even after I moved out, I haven't had a dog since. I still have hope that someday, I'll either be reunited with her, or at least figure out what happened to her. I miss her every day. She was my best friend, and helped me cope with my trauma. I hope to god she wasn't put down, because I've reached out numerous times to shelters who've all left me unanswered. All I want is to know what happened to my best friend. I want to know if she's ok, and I need her to know that I've always loved her. It hurts me to my core to think that she might've felt abandoned by me on the night she was kicked out... Athena, I'm sorry. I hope you're getting all the love you so well deserve. -Zoe\
